35 years old boy consulted me regarding Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He came with his father and told me that 2 years ago he got this disorder after the death of his mother.
From last 2 years it became difficuilt for him to get rid of this grief, his father told me that he was very close to his mother and depends on her mother for so many things but her sudden death took him to shock.
He washed his hands so many times a day but didn’t brush his teeth for 2 to 3 days. He doesn’t like to clean his room and didn’t change bedsheet for 2-3 months. Its been a week he didn’t change his clothes neither took a bath. He liked messy hair and didn’t comb it for so many days.
I took all his symptoms and advised him to do meditation and tried to busy himself in some work as it would help him to recover fast. I prescribed him medicine after complete case history and it took 6 months to show signs of recovery and within a year he was perfectly alright.
