A old lady of 78 years consulted us regarding her warts on foot, which were recurrent and very painful. She showed me her feet which were dirty with cracked heels and sole became too hard. She told me that due to her age she was not able to maintain her hygiene and clean her feet regularly.
She even had warts at her hands few years back but this time it appeared on foot and are painful, she barely can walk and stand.
She said she used so many moisturizers, even tried few oinments suggested by skin specialist. After few days her warts became disappeared but then occurred at some other place. She was tired of all the oinments, moisturizers and sprays.
I suggested her to wash her foot and try to maintain hygiene, discontinue all the oinments, crack healers etc, wear some comfortable shoes with soft sole and try not to press it again and again.
I gave her single dose of medicine and within a week her warts were treatable but I continue her treatment for further few days for permanent cure and relief.
