Migraine is defined as a kind of headache that occurs due to changes in the brain which results into severe head pain to moderate pain. Head pain is usually one sided and remain for long hours to days.

Women are more prone to migraine than men.

What are the types of Migraine?
Classic Migraines
It starts with sign called an aura results flashed lights and colours, a lines pattern or shadows, temporarily vision, prickly or burning sensation, one sided muscle weakness and restless. Head pain occurs on one side of head sometimes on both sides, it lasts for 15 to 30 minutes.

Common migraines
It lasts for long time and may affect the daily life, it occurs on one side of head.

Hemiplegic Migraines
Head pain is usually one sided, it leads to weakness of the affected side most commonly face, arm and leg. Pain goes into 24 hours but sometimes it remains for hours to some days.

Retinal migraines
It results in vision changes, mostly diminished vision or even blindness of affected eye. Symptoms are of short duration which occurs before and after headache.
