What Is Swine Flu ?

Swine flu is also known as H1N1 flu, because it is caused due to H1N1 strain of influenza virus. H1N1 is a viruses present in pigs, birds and humans which causes respiratory infection in humans.

What are the causes of Swine Flu?
H1N1 virus has flu like symptoms they infect the nose, throat and lungs cell linings. The virus enters through inhalation of infected droplets and spreads into the body through eyes, nose and mouth. Eating bacon, ham or pork product does not causes Swine flu.

Swine flu is contagious and it can spread through one person to other person through cough and sneezing. Any material contaminated due to infectious droplet can cause swine flu. Usage of things that are used by swine flu patients.
