What is Vaginal agenesis?
It is defined as rare disease that develops before birth, in this disorder vagina and uterus is not completely developed, female even unable to get her menses. In many cases vaginal dilators are used to stretch the vagina, which creates vagina and female can have normal intercourse like the normal ones.
Causes:
It is caused due to poor kidney and skeletal development. It is called as mullerian agenesis, mullerian aplasia or Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome.
Symptoms
Complete amenorrhea
cervix –absent
Normal ovaries but undeveloped fallopian tubes
Kidneys are not developed
Urinary tract not developed
Structural changes in spine bone and ribs
Vaginal agenesis
