It is defined as vaginal inflammation that includes thinning and dryness. It also effects on urinary tracts that causes painful urinaration and painful intercourse also.
Who are at risk?
Female approaching menopause are at higher risk

Symptoms
It causes vaginal-dryness, burning, discharge and itching
Urinary tract – Burning, uncontrollable and frequent urine
Intercourse – Mild bleeding, decreased lubrication in vagina and pain
Vaginal canal – Shortening and tightening

Birth control pills
Breast feeding
Decreased estrogen
Dryness in vagina
Removal of ovaries
Menopause
Chemotherapy
No intercourse
Smoking
