What is Vaginitis?
It is caused due to vaginal bacteria that reduces estrogen hormone most probably in menopause, results in inflammation causes vaginal discharge and itching.
 
Types:
Bacterial vaginosis:
Overgrowth of naturally presence vaginal bacteria with grey white discharge which smells so fishy.

Yeast infections:
It is caused due to fungus also known as Candida albicans with cottage cheese like discharge.

Trichomoniasis:
It is caused due to sexually transmitted parasite with greenish, frothy discharge.
 
Symptoms
Vaginal spotting
Painful intercourse
Vaginal discharge
Odour smell from vaginal discharge
Burning and pain in urine

Prevention
Maintain hygiene
Avoid scented pads and soaps
Avoid hot bath spa’s
After urine wipe from front to back
Avoid multiple sex partners
Use protection during intercourse
Use cotton innerwears
