Why to eat less at night?

Many people prefers to eat heavy meal at night due to whole day busy schedule they are unable to fulfill their nutritious requirements. But, is it right way of eating? And the answer is “no”, having heavy meals at night can have great bad impacts on our body. It was well said:
“Eat breakfast like a king,
Lunch like a prince and
Dinner like a pauper”

Morning breakfast should be heavy because it brings more energy and increases body strength but heavy dinner can only end up with certain health issues.

It causes obesity and difficult to manage body fat in a proper way as during night physical activities are less and makes body hard to utilize or burn the fat. As a result it leads to weight gain.

Sleeping pattern also disturbs with mouth full food at night. It causes discomfort and makes one unable to sleep properly. More food and less activity at night creates anxiety which results in sleeplessness.

It is advisable to eat food before 1 hour of bedtime. Sleeping too close after dinner can leads to gastric issues, indigestion, extra calories and sleep problems.

Many problems like blood sugar, heart disease and liver diseases are occurred due to ill mannered food habits. At night it also become difficult for kidney to filter the waste products as kidney can only work well if physical activity is involved.

Try not to take sugar rich food, fatty and fried food as they also participate to increase calories and cholesterol level, if taken at night.

Heavy dinner can slow down the metabolism.
